Shabbat by Rachel:
The stars were appearing by the time us Ramaniks ran down to dinner, causing sudden traffic and excitement. Of course the chicken noodle soup was superb. Soup croutons, a natural favorite, were also among the popular part of the meal. We sat on the damp grass of the giva (hill), and heard a story on Saturday afternoon. Saturday night, the spices, ice cream, twisted candles, and relaxed shabbat spirit all filled our senses and lingered in our presence. All of the campers in our edah joined hands and voices, and had a great time on Shabbat at Camp Ramah!
